Letter, 1745 June 1, Boston [Mass.], to Jacob Wendell, Boston [Mass.].

Letter expressing Shirley's hope that Wendell will successfully recruit men for his regiment, and that these men will remain in Boston following their enlistment. Wendell should also publish a proclamation informing seamen of a 3-pound bounty if they enlist. The expedition has good prospects of success.
